Start by asking the receiving office exactly what they need: original or certified copy, apostille or legalization, translation before or after certification. One email saves two weeks. If the answer comes back ambiguous — it often does — that ambiguity is precisely what we resolve daily, so bring it to us as-is.
The most common mistake we see is sequencing: translating a document first, then discovering the apostille must be attached to the original — which invalidates the translation layout, or means paying twice.
